Bold Communications integrate Identicom with Mini-Bold platform

Bold Identicom is the most innovative and cost effective lone worker device available. It has been designed in the form of an identity card holder that is discreetly worn by vulnerable lone working staff. The device uses mobile phone technology to raise an alarm, which once activated, opens up a one-way audio communication channel into an alarm receiving centre.With Bold Identicom, the situation is listened to and acted upon in real time and the recordings taken can be used as evidence in court against an aggressor.
Now Bold Identicom can be used in conjunction with Mini-Bold - the windows-based alarm receiving and monitoring software from Bold Communications, providing organisations with a full end-to-end and cost-effective solution to monitor their own lone working staff, without the need for third-party alarm monitoring.
Bold Communications have increased the number of subscribers for Mini-Bold from 3000 to 5000, and used in conjunction with Bold Identicom, this vital lone worker system is a preferred option for many organisations with an existing monitoring operation.
Providing reporting to NSI standards, the Bold Identicom and Mini-Bold solution is already being successfully used by Sefton Council and Stoke City Council as well as a number of major retail organisations.
