Identicom t-Series

The t-Series Identicom range was launched in 2009 and gives a lone worker the most comprehensive solution due to increased safety and business benefits resulting from increased location data being made available. Products in the range have the same unique form-factor of an identity card-holder and give a wearer peace of mind due to the ability to raise an alarm in the face of verbal abuse or attack, or if a user feels their safety could be compromised.

Multiple GPS locations

All t-Series identicom devices are GPS enabled. Unlike a GPS enabled i-Series device however, the t757 and t777 are able to store multiple GPS locations and update regularly through uploading a data session to a secure server via GPRS. This enables much of the functionality that is accessible through the Connexion2 Mobile Workforce Management Platform including the creation of definable Geo-fences as well as the ability to view a ‘breadcrumb' trail of user movement on any given day.

The greater location information provided by t-Series devices enable staff to reduce risks, improve efficiencies, and enable increased cohesion between all the elements of a mobile workforce.

This enables a quicker flow of information to staff at manager level, and reduces the burden on front-line staff for periodic reporting on activities allowing a smoother and faster flow of operations.

Lone worker device first and foremost

A t-Series Identicom device retains its primary function of being a lone worker device first and foremost; however the safety benefits from comprehensive GPS data could prove invaluable in a ‘Red Alert' situation where a user needs to be located.

However, a ‘Red Alert' on a t-Series device is handled in exactly the same way by the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) element of the solution, and integration with the Mobile Workforce Management Application is designed purely to be a tool for the lone worker manager to improve a coordination of resources.

The Identicom with the highest specification in terms of functionality, the t777 provides comprehensive lone worker protection against social and environmental risk. It can also integrate with the Connexion2 Mobile Workforce Management Platform due to the ability to store multiple GPS positions and upload as a data session via GPRS. The device also features an automatic ‘man down' alarm should the user suffer a trip, fall or incapacitation.
