It is now widely appreciated that the use of a mobile phone, in a situation where there is threat of abuse or attack, is not only difficult, the phone not being to hand, but will often inflame the situation, putting the employee at increased risk. Disguised as an ID card holder, Connexion2's Identicom device is the only product on the market that truly addresses the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) guidelines on Panic Alarms (PAs) by providing discreet dual verification in a dedicated for purpose unit, opening a one-way voice call such that a third party can take appropriate and proportionate action. The Bluetooth Identicom i350 brings a new level of affordability to this popular form factor, by enabling the user to take advantage of their existing Bluetooth mobile phone.

The Bluetooth Identicom i350 supports all of the core functionality of the award-winning Identicom i750. This includes status checking to get feedback on the signal strength seen by their phone as well as the remaining battery charge, amber alert and timer functions, and red alert functionality. All of this is achieved without the need for a second phone contract. As with all Identicom products, the audio is captured from the microphone in the Identicom and not that of the user's phone. This ensures the clearest, most effective and evidentially integral audio as heard from in front of the user.

The design of the Identicom i350 is such that it ensures the greatest compatibility with the vast majority of Bluetooth enabled mobile phones. For security and reliability the i350 is 'paired' with the phone, a simple operation equivalent to that employed by top-of-the-range mobile phone headsets. Unless the user needs to perform a function with their Identicom it remains disconnected from the phone. This means that the user's phone is available for them to use as a phone when they wish, and is immediately transferred to their Identicom when needed for a security function.

The Bluetooth Identicom i350 provides a low cost solution without removing from users the critical ability to raise a discreet alarm to summon help where and when they need it, without increasing their level of risk.

All industry sized ID cards can be accommodated, simply slide in/out from the side.
