Like the already well established i-Series Identicom ® range; the newer t-Series Identicom ® range launched in 2009 has the same discreet form factor of an ID Card Holder and is there to assist the lone worker with their dynamic risk assessment or to get the necessary help as quickly as possible in the face of verbal abuse, physical attack or risk of lone worker incapacitation.

Where these products differ from the i-Series range is that they offer increased safety benefits to the user and increased efficiency benefits to the lone worker manager through comprehensive data on the location of the worker.

Many workers carry a dedicated LWD or a non-dedicated device such as a mobile phone (despite them being overt in operation). Often these workers are travelling for long periods or to several different locations daily; thus frequently in and out of their vehicle regularly.

Some workers might have vehicle tracking systems, but they are clearly not assisting the employee whilst they are away from the vehicle, and such systems are not implemented across all industry sectors routinely.

As a result, a dedicated LWD containing the functionality to comprehensively locate an individual offers compelling safety and business benefits.

The t-Series Identicom ® offers lone workers and their manager’s greater location knowledge in order to reduce risks, improve efficiencies, and enable increased cohesion between all the elements of a mobile workforce.

This enables a quicker flow of information to staff at manager level, and reduces the burden on front-line staff for periodic reporting on activities allowing a smoother and faster flow of operations.

As well as productivity benefits, the range ensures there are safety benefits for the user as greater information is available to anyone trying to assist them. The frequency of information delivered by the Identicom ® is higher; therefore this gives any emergency services a clear pattern of movement allowing a better anticipation of direction headed or current location.

All t-Series products utilise the functionality found in the original Identicom ® unit in line with reducing risks in the face of verbal abuse, physical attack pr man-down. The product also retains the unique form factor of an ID Card Holder making it easy to carry and operate discreetly as well as facilitating audio-evidence capture.

Please note the t-Series range requires implementation alongside an online mapping system in order for the customer to maximise all of the device’s capabilities.
