SoloProtect featuring Identicom mobile:

Identicom mobile is the original BS8484 compliant lone worker application for a smartphone / non-dedicated lone worker device. The application allows a lone worker much of the functionality of the Identicom lone worker device but on their smartphone. The application has been specifically designed for use by those lone workers who face risk only periodically. A worker facing risk regularly should be supplied with a dedicated lone worker device such as Identicom; however those that are deemed lower risk, but also typically carry a smartphone device will benefit from Identicom mobile.

Identicom mobile utilises the same function terminology as Identicom including Amber Alerts and Red Alerts. This means clients with a mixture of devices can benefit from shared training and communication of policy with regards to the products.

The application is easy to use through its intuitive user interface. The ‘Red Alert' function can be accessed through the menu screen or through a definable key on the device for use under duress.

Identicom mobile solutions through SoloProtect are structured slightly differently to those incorporating the Identicom lone worker device as the smartphone and SIM card are not provided by Connexion2. The company supply the client with the application, 24/7 manned monitoring, training, reporting and customer support.

Identicom mobile is available as a stand-alone application, or as part of a solution featuring integration with the Mobile Workforce Management Platform for use by lone worker managers. Integration with the platform allows easy coordination of a lone worker team, the ability to view a user breadcrumb trail of movement, and the creation of definable Geo-fences.
